Dinner & Dane 2008 ~ Bedazzled

15th Aug 2008, the first dinner and dance i attended in Citi.. Wow it was fun, even after the dinner it was also fun and crazy..

The theme for my department is Glamorous Paris. Found my dress in Daniel Yen, a tube dress with transparent lace in front centre. It cost $170 however with free voucher from my friend Mr. Rosz.. I managed to get the dress at $120.. I found it only after walking and shopping the whole orchard.

We arranged to do our hairdo and makeup at bishan 1st salon. Left office at 3pm and proceed to bishan with Joanne, Angeline, Christina and Damien. Spent $35 on hairdo and $25 on makeup. The price was reasonable however the makeup was ok only but the hairdo is not bad. Overall their service is nice. If given a chance i would go back to have my hairdo and services.

After changing, makeup and hairdo.. we took a cab down to our The Stamford Swissotel @ Cityhall. Upon reaching we saw different group of people dressed in different theme. In total we had 4 theme for each different operations.

There was people dressed in rented costume and various elegant gowns. There was even dragon, i wonder how the person sit.

The night was fun and interesting we had even human train round the ballroom dancing and also dancing around other tables and with my group of colleague.. the common song YMCA is there again...

Took lots of photo and had fun.. However the food there was so so only.. Finally it was lucky draw time. To my disappointment i did not win any prize.. :(

The prices include nails vouchers, hong kong trip, hotel stay, harvey norman voucher, electrical items and not forgetting the F1 race ticket..

The event eventually ended at 1130pm. The 9 of us including Adeline's son, we than took a train down orchard for our happening hours at Int't Building partyworld. Guess what.. we was not singing there, we was dancing in the room. We had the big room which can accomdate 20 to 30 ppl..Around 1.40pm, Jenny joined us at the ktv session, and i believe she was scared by the crazy group of us. haha... Lihui was the most crazy and happening one in the group. The night was fun, i and Joanne left the group the earliest at 2.30am.

The night was fun and interesting. Enjoyed !!
