CitiRally 2009

CitiRally..What is that? It is a car rally competition held by Citibank. The event is held at Yishun Bottle Tree Park on 18th April 2009.

The first car rally i had join. Together with Adeline, Li hui. Joanne and Angeline, we formed the Devilicious Team. Initially our department is supposed to have 2 teams. However another team was unable to join as the members was unable to make it and the driver had to report to work on that day. Hence it was left with our team.

Credit Operations has another team lead by our head Nanan. The team consist of Nanan, Aldrin, Marion, Michelle and Keddy. They are the 4RE Team. 4RE means what? In fast pronuciation, it mean ferrari. However their team is not associated to F1 ferrari. They are the school bus ferrari. Dressed in school uniform and car decorated as school bus. They effort made they emerged the winner for "The Best Dressed Competition"

Together with another dept we formed one team, Team no. 10. Collected 2 road book for the rally. Unfortunately we took the set that lead us around Woodlands, Choa Chu Kang, Kranji and Sungei Kadut. A place non of us know of. It was really a challenge. It the end we spent 1 1/2 hours to find our first destinations which is along the woodlands road. Guess what. The result is actually at bukit panjang plaza. Oh my god.... Eventually we manage to finish the road book and exchanged it for the final stage which is the tulip stage.

Using the tulip map we had to follow the sign and go towards the destination and also to solve the related question. Time passes and it is 5pm. Tired Devilicious, decided to give up and report back to station. We are supposed to report at 5.30pm. And eventually we report back on time but... we never complete the tasks.

As we sit down and wait for the event to end, we decided to leave first and settle our own dinners.

It was an experience to all of us although we failed the tasks. A few words that can describe the experience is New, Exciting, Challenging and Tiring...
