The Proposal @ Harris Resort Batam

**23rd October 2010, our 3rd years Anniversary**

It has been 3years since we officially together. On this special day, Dear arrange a short weekend trip to Batam Harris Resort.

We bought ferry ticket for departure at 10am on Saturday. However when we reach harbourfront we realise that the ferry had been brought forward without our knowledge. As we had missed the timing to board the early ferry. We changed our ferry to the next earliest timing which is 11.40am.

Finally we managed to reach Batam at Indo Time 12am.

Harris Resort arranged transport to fetch us from sekupang ferry terminal. A 15 minutes ride to reach the resort.

The Resort was clean and nice.. What i like most is the beautiful big swimming pools.

After checking in. We proceed to Nagoya Shopping Centre for our lunch.

Tried the indonesia grill, we ordered a deep fried fish, a grill chicken, a grill sotong, tempura prawn and kangkung. It was delicious and tasty.

After having the indonesia grill, we proceed to try the famous duck. Grand Duck Restaurant. Ordered a mayo prawn and a small portion of duck. It was also nice, but not as delicious as the indonesia grill.

After having the food, we proceed for window shopping. After an hour of shopping, we walk to shops outside the building and checked out a spa salon.

Eventually we settle down for some treatment. Dear and his cousin-Joseph had foot massage, Joseph's girlfriend decide to try out the milk bath spa. As for me i decided to do a full classic mani & pedicure @ only S$35.

After that we went JCO dounts for some donuts and drinks. Eventually we board the free shuttle bus service back to hotel @ 5pm.

Back at the hotel we decided to had a swim before having our dinner.

Proceeded for our Poolside BBQ Dinner @ 7pm. A special table had been arranged for us under a special tent. Dear had also arranged a surprise for me..

Guess what, a proposal with live band and fireworks...
Thank you Dear, I love it.. :)

The next morning we wakeup and had a swim again before our breakfast. The breakfast spread was more than the BBQ Dinner we had.

The hotel staff was nice and friendly. The resort was clean and neat. An ideal place for getaway. I will surely go again soon.
