Finally.. we had got our key for our new flat on 16th Oct 2011.

Upon getting ourlong await key, we proceed to our new block for our grand opening...

Fantasic view from our living room await us.. The big windy feel is so shiok and nice..

From the day onwards, we started purchasing and sourcing for all the items that we needed for the new house renovation.

After going to various furniture shop and outlet, we finally decided to get our furniture from Celini. Sofa (a similar design to what Dear's wanted), a Ceaser Stone Dining Table (considxer a real stone, which Dear's wanted) and a King Size mattress with a huge classy bed frame (my ideal design). All this costed us $4300. Which was considered quite a good bargain.

Initially thought that it will be impossible for the house renovation to be completed. However to our surprise, our contractor say is possible as the item we are doing is not that complicated and much.

As we intend move in before Chinese Qing Ming, he rushed our project as it will be more difficult to complete the renovation if we was to start after chinese new year and before qing ming.

Discussed our new home design and starting purchasing our item needed for the flat.

Thanks to my dear colleague, we managed to get almost all the items we needed for the house at Licht Studio at a special price. From down lights, dining lighting, kitchen lighting and walkway lighting to kitchen sink, taps and toilet accessories. We total spent $4k plus.. This was the price we managed to get afterspecialdiscount. It was consider a good buy as if we was to compare with the original pricing we got from other shops it will had gone up to $6k plus.

Renovation started officially today. Wiring for our lights was pulled and the place now look like Alien with the wires hanging in the ceiling.

Done with our furniture and almost all the items needed for the renovation. We decided to confirm on our curtain purchase. Got a quote from a home base / factory curtain maker.

Base on the quality of the cloth, a 2 layer curtain and the length of our windows. We finally settled our curtain package at $1450.

Compare to those shop front quoted prices, i believe we had got at a reasonable deals however isstill costly. Broke!.

Now we are left with our electrical appliances and kitchen tray rack.

Another big sum to be spent.

Finally i estimated we would had spent almost $40k for the whole renovation, furniture, air conditioner and electrical appliances.
